Description
Giclee printing (pronounced Jee-clay) is commonly considered to be the highest quality digital reproduction technique for fine art. It starts with an extremely high resolution, detailed scanning process during which the image and topography of the original artwork are captured into a digital file. Then the giclee prints are created using specialized printers that literally spray the image onto a substrate such as canvas, paper, etc. A graduate of the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, artist John Rowe has enjoyed a long and successful career as a fine artists and commercial illustrator in Hollywood and beyond. His artwork has quite famously been seen as the cover artwork for the “Black Stallion” book series for Random House and his Hollywood one-sheet poster designs for Disney’s “Black Stallion”, “Miracle” and “The Greatest Game Ever Played” are world famous.
