Description
This paper doll is inspired by my favorite piece in the Armor Court at the Cleveland Museum of Art. “Field Armor for Man and Horse with the Arms of the Völs-Colonna Family, about 1575. North Italy. Etched steel with gilding; leather and velvet.” There is a lot of detail and many joints on this paper doll so it is very fun to pose! The original design is scanned and then laser printed on heavy 140# index paper (cardstock). It is cut and assembled by me with tiny brads to make it posable. The knight and his horse are about 10 inches long and 11 inches high. They have 23 articulating joints.
