Recently, I was interviewed by art magazine publisher, Eric Rhoads, on his PleinAir Art Podcast which was recorded live in front of an audience during the amazing Plein Air Convention in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Eric and I are both friends and colleagues, so we had a lively conversation about my life as an artist, an author and being an influencer in the field of art. We discussed the benefits of using water mixable oils, finding the right art supplies while traveling abroad, painting in snow, my travels, and much more.

If you liked my PleinAir Art Podcast, you might also enjoy my new four-hour instructional art video, “Luminous Landscape Painting,” which is now available through Liliedahl by Streamline Publishing.
Here’s what they say, “A master artist, McNee explains in the video how to use water-mixable oils, how to bring shadows to life to make your paintings more pleasing, why local color is important, and much more.” ~Liliedahl Art Videos.
